Our Registered Scrum Master training was developed by the co-creator of Scrum, Dr. Jeff Sutherland. In this course, we’ll share his insights and strategies from decades of success launching high-performing Scrum teams in businesses around the globe.

This two-day course is dynamic and highly interactive. Class participants will start by organizing into Scrum teams. You'll take part in a variety of games and exercises, that will allow you to experience the Scrum Master role firsthand. With the help of your instructors, you and your team will create a product backlog, prioritize it, and manage a burndown chart. You’ll leave the class knowing how Scrum can accelerate any project. This training is for all levels of Scrum experience.

There are no prerequisites.

As a Registered  Scrum Master, you will be prepared to:

Learn Distributed Scrum

The 2-day Registered Scrum Master class is suitable for those practicing or looking to practice the art of the Scrum Master but is highly valuable for anyone involved in Scrum (Managers, Team Members, Product Managers, etc.).  While no experience is necessary, attendees should have some familiarity with Scrum.

After successfully completing this class, participants can claim 16 PDUs or Contact Hours with the PMI. These PDUs can be applied towards your 21 Contact Hour requirement for your Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) status.

About the Instructor

Ernesto Custodio, MBA, Ph.D. has over 25 years of experience working in the IT field. His experience includes Product Management, Software Development Management, Business Development Management, Project Management, Agile Coach, and Agile Trainer working with startups and Fortune 500 companies. His expertise includes Agile coaching, Agile transformations, and managing geographically dispersed teams. Dr. Custodio holds an MBA and Ph.D. in Information Systems. He is a Registered Scrum@Scale Trainer (RS@ST), Scrum Inc Trainer, Registered Agile Coach, Certified SAFe Program Consultant (CSPC), Certified Scrum Professional – SM and PO (CSP-SM/PO), and PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

This class is taught in the United States by an experienced Registered Scrum Trainer. Dr. Custodio has taught hundreds of students. He has logged thousands of agile coaching hours by helping organizations, leaders, and practitioners adopt agile in their work environment.
