Learn Distributed Scrum
Are you or your organization challenged by hybrid or globally distributed teams? No need to worry, our instructors are experts in distributed Scrum collaboration. Ernesto Custodio’s Ph.D. research on Distributed Agile Teams has shown that there are five major categories that impact teams in a hybrid or globally distributed team environment: Tools, Roles, Events, Artifacts, and facilitation Techniques. We have collected the most effective solutions, the TREAT, that high-performing teams use to overcome these challenges.
These techniques include Scrum of Scrum, Sprint Retrospective, Remote Refinement Techniques, and more. We look forward to supplementing your certification with Distributed Team challenges and proven solutions. In addition to your Registered Scrum Master Credential, our students will also learn the principles for effective collaboration in distributed Scrum environments. This is an interactive class with lectures, exercises, demonstrations, and facilitated discussions to illustrate the principles being taught and to maximize your understanding. Students will interact using the same tools and skills necessary for effective distributed Scrum collaboration.
Students who successfully complete the course and pass the exam will earn their Registered Scrum Master credential signed by the co-creator of Scrum, Dr. Jeff Sutherland.
The 2-day Registered Scrum Master class is suitable for those practicing or looking to practice the art of the Scrum Master but is highly valuable for anyone involved in Scrum (Managers, Team Members, Product Managers, etc.). While no experience is necessary, attendees should have some familiarity with Scrum.
After successfully completing this class, participants can claim 16 PDUs or Contact Hours with the PMI. These PDUs can be applied towards your 21 Contact Hour requirement for your Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) status.
