About the Event
As a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®), you’ll help the Scrum Team perform at their highest level. CSMs also protect the team from both internal and external distractions. Through the certification process, you will learn the Scrum framework and gain an understanding of team roles, events, and artifacts.
- Expand your career opportunities across all industry sectors adopting Agile practices
- Demonstrate your attainment of core Scrum knowledge
- Learn the foundation of Scrum and the scope of the role
- Engage with Agile practitioners committed to continuous improvement
In addition to fulfilling the role of Scrum Master, all NEW Scrum Alliance certification holders receive a complimentary two-year membership with their INITIAL certification. Join local user groups and online social networks, gain access to deep discounts on Gatherings, and more.
This class runs from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm both days.
All costs, including the exam fee, are included in our price!
After class students will need to take the required open-book test on the Scrum Alliance website in order to complete their Certified ScrumMaster status.
The 2-day ScrumMaster Certification class is suitable for those practicing or looking to practice the art of the ScrumMaster, but is highly valuable for anyone involved in Scrum (Managers, Team Members, Product Managers, etc.). While no experience is necessary, attendees should have some familiarity with Scrum. We strongly recommend you start by reading our Scrum overview and then reading a good book on Scrum or Agile, such as "Succeeding With Agile," by Mike Cohn, before class.
After successfully completing this class participants will be registered with the Scrum Alliance as being eligible to take the required on-line exam which must be passed successfully in order to complete the Certification status. Participants will also have electronic access to class training materials on the Winnow Management site for one year, and can claim 16 PDUs or Contact Hours with the PMI. These PDUs can be applied towards your 21 Contact Hour requirement for your Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) status.
